Karachi Board Reschedules May 28 Exam Due to Public Holiday

KARACHI – The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced a new date for exams originally scheduled on May 28, following the government’s declaration of a public holiday to observe Youm-e-Takbeer.

According to an official statement from the Karachi Board Chairman, the intermediate exams planned for May 28 will now take place on Friday, May 30. This change affects students in the Science Pre-Medical and Science General groups.

The Botany Paper I exam, including both the old and new course schemes for repeat candidates, will be held on May 30 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, maintaining the original time slot.

Additionally, the English Paper I and English (Advanced) Paper I for repeat candidates are rescheduled to the same day, May 30, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The board reassured students that exam centers and other arrangements will remain unchanged.
