Karachi Board Reschedules May 28 Exam Due to Public Holiday

KARACHI – The Intermediate Board Karachi (BIEK) has adjusted its exam timetable following the government’s declaration of May 28 as a public holiday in honor of Youm-e-Takbeer.

As per the official notification from the BIEK Chairman, the intermediate exams set for May 28 have been postponed to Friday, May 30. This rescheduling applies to students appearing under the Science Pre-Medical and Science General streams.

The Botany Paper-I, for both regular and repeat students under old and new syllabi, will now be held on May 30 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, keeping the same time slot as originally planned.

In addition, the English Paper-I and English (Advanced) Paper-I for repeat candidates will also take place on May 30, but during the afternoon session from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The board confirmed that all examination centers and seating arrangements will remain unchanged, ensuring a smooth transition for students affected by the schedule change.
