Continuous heavy rainfall in Karachi has raised alarms among weather experts and city officials. Due to the nonstop downpour and high tides in the Arabian Sea, there is now a serious risk that seawater may enter parts of Karachi, especially low-lying coastal areas. Rainfall Causes Waterlogging Across Karachi

The Sindh government and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) have started emergency operations. Heavy machinery is being used to clear water from major roads and to open blocked drains. Disaster response teams are on standby in high-risk areas.
The Karachi Commissioner has asked residents living near the coast to be alert. If the situation gets worse, some people may have to leave their homes for safety. Schools in affected areas may also be closed temporarily to avoid risks to students.
